Am I being punished?

So... welcome to another exciting episode of the Glenn show. So, I talked to Eric tonight. I really feel sorry for the poor guy. As rough as my life seems at times, his problems make mine seem trivial. The last time I talked to him ... (it's been about a month I guess,) he told me that some old girlfriend of his had called him and said his son wanted to meet him. As if that wasn't enough, now I find out the kid has cerebral palsy and autism. Although, that's not too suprising considering his mother is pretty damn insane, or at least seemed to be the last time I met her. On top of that, she did like to drink quite a bit. In that same vein, Eric is having issues with his wife and her escapades involving late night drinking. As if that wasn't enough it seems even he himself has fallen into the drink.... which is sad, but I suppose given his situation, is understandable. Besides, there are worse things one can do to numb the pain.

As for myself, I'm doing pretty good for the most part.

I wrote about four paragraphs after that sentence which contradicted it in many ways, so I've decided to erase it all, and write this instead. You see, I've been told on more than one occasion that I take issue to things for the sole purpose of making other people feel bad. Consider this my first attempt at rectifying that problem.
