Welcome once again. I've got lots of great news to distrubte to my loyal masses. Err...whoever reads this crap. Melissa got a 99' Accord. She couldn't afford the new Civic. Anyway, i think it's better than a new civic. It's silver, two door, 5-speed. Really nice. As usual, I'm at work right now... which really sucks because I hate working sundays overnight. I was supposed to be off today. It would have been the first weekend in a long time that I would have been off for the entire weekend. I guess I should have known that wouldn't really happen. Terry called in sick, so they called me in to cover his 12hr shift. I'm not really suprised. He was bitching Friday night about how he felt like he was going to be sick. Excellent foreshadowing on his part. On a dif. subject, someone introduced me to a new website recently... Mobilesucks.net . I have mixed feelings/opinions about the site. I like the site because it is a place where people where I live actually get together and talk about shit. I don't like how the name is so broad, yet the site seems to limit itself to the mobile music scene. The message boards are the only real point of interest on the site. I like it because it reminds me of my BBS days, and some of the things said on there are totally fucking hilarious. On the downside, it seems like most of the people there are elitist, everyone's-shit-stinks-but-mine-because-I-know-everything highschool brats. When it comes to music, they bash anything that is played on radio stations simply because they're way too cool to listen to anything that's popular enough to get airplay. The more obscure the group, the better. There's also a chatroom on the site, but no one ever goes in there from what I can tell. There can be 10 people on the board simultaneously all posting every 30 seconds, but never anyone in the chat room. I guess they're too good for chat rooms. Anyway, as sad as it is, I see mobilesucks.net as a place that needs my influence... maybe yours too. Check it out. I'm still debating adding it to my links page. I'm afraid to commit... so sue me.
